James Patounas is Source One’s Senior Data Scientist and the primary architect of the SpendConsultant spend analysis as a service platform. He is in charge of developing and implementing an array of business intelligence tools for Source One’s Procurement and Strategic Sourcing services. Patounas’ background has focused heavily on the practical application of data mining, acquisition, normalization, and visualization – and he brings this unique mindset to advance the Procurement profession. In 2017, Patounas was featured alongside senior supply executives during the ISM Exec IN Forum’s presentation on Procurement 4.0.
